You Will Regret Fighting Raila, Prof Mutahi Ngunyi Warns Ruto Against Pushing Raila to the Limits

Today was yet another tempting day for the Kenya democracy and peace at large after the Ruto administration allegedely blocked the Azimio leader Raila Odinga from accessing the DCI headquarters. The former Prime Minister was accompanied by several leaders where he had gone to stand in solidarity with former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi was was being interrogated at the DCI offices.

Matiangi and his team arrived in the early hours of the morning where they spent only fifteen minutes before he was later detained for close to six hours. What however caught the attention of Kenyans was when Raila arrived at the DCI gate, he was barred for entering after the senior police officer at the gate told him that he has orders from above baring him form entering.

The angry Raila demanded to know why he was being stopped from entering into a public office and what law was the officer applying to stop him from accessing the premises. It took the efforts of leaders like senator Edwin Sifuna and lawyers Hon Otiende Omollo SC to calm down Raila as they figure the way forward.

Following that dramatic scenes at the DCI headquarters, political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has sent a warning to president William Ruto that soon he might regret his actions. According to Mutahi Ngunyi, seeing Raila that angry and folding his fist and saying...' if you want problems, you will get problems...' is not a statement to take lightly.

The professor argued that Ruto is giving Raila more energy and pushing him to the limit will come back to eat him. The professor said that instead of Ruto humiliating Raila by barring him from entering the DCI headquarters, he would have instead used diplomacy and allow him in give him some whiskey and things will have calmed down.

"Dear Ruto. Are you SURE you know how to handle Raila Odinga? Fuel is up, BUT you are giving him political FUEL for FREE. Do NOT push his LIMITS. Use LOLLYPOP diplomacy. Open DCI gates. Give him some WHISKY in a PRIVATE waiting ROOM. Be FRIENDLY. And the Oomph will DISAPPEAR." Professor Mutahi Ngunyi.

With less than 72 hours to Raila's Mass action and the latest endorsement from a section of ODM Youths From Ukambani region and the latest from Jubilee Party, Ruto will indeed fry himself with his own fat if he doesn't watch out his steps closely.
