"CS Matiang'i SHALL BE the first minority president. What you are witnessing is a Mandela or Kenyatta moment. The two late presidents went to prison for completely different things, came out bigger and are part of Africa's history. I'm happy that Ruto is making these mistakes." Mwalimu Abduba Dida warned.

Elsewhere and in relation to the Matiangi drama, Azimio leader Raila Odinga who had gone to the DCI headquarters was barred from accessing the DCI headquarters after a senior police officer manning the entrance said that he has orders barring Raila and anyone else from the premises. This angered Raila who threatened to order his supporters who were already pilled at the gate to forcefully gain access to the premise.
