VIDEO: Raila's Triumphant Entry Brings Things to Standstill at Magoha's Funeral

Today Kenyans and leaders from all corners of Kenya travelled to Siaya County to pay their last respect to the late professor George Magoha. The late Magoha passed away at the Nairobi Hospital where he was rushed after he was reported to have fainted several times at his home.

Professor George Magoha who served under president Uhuru Kenyatta will be remembered for his great contribution especially in the education sector where he oversaw the whole CBC system getting life. Prior to his appointment to cabinet as CS education, Prof worked at the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) where he oversaw the reduction of examination cheating getting to its lowest level.

In today's send off ceremony, several leaders ranging from his former colleagues at the cabinet, his former boss President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Azimio leader Raila Odinga graced the event to pay their last respect to the fallen soldier.

What however shocked many Kenyans was after the Azimio leader arrived at the event, things were literally brought to a standstill as the crowds started to chant Raila's name and asher him to the VIP podium. This forced the MC to temporarily hold on from progressing with the procession until Raila settled down.

When Raila stood to mourn Magoha, he described him as one of the great men that Kenya has ever have. The Azimio leader said that Kenya has not only lost a great man but also a great leader who had inspired many young Kenyans with his zeal to work.

"I want to say without fear of contradiction that right inside that coffin lies a great man. I want to confirm that everything that has been said about Prof George Magoha is true." Raila Odinga.
