Teacher Commits Suicide Leaving this Heart-breaking Note Behind
The tough economic times are sending most Kenyans into depression and some are dying because they cannot bear the burden of supporting themselves leave alone their families. Coupled with huge debts that most have accumulated and the punitive measures of debt collection that has been employed by the creditors, some are becoming unbearable.
News reaching our news desk has revealed that a teacher of English and literature from NYAMIRA committed suicide this morning by throwing self into a water reservoir. The teacher left a note behind explaining why he did so.
According to the suicide note as seen below, the teacher claims he was owed Kshs1.5 million by the people listed below. He categorized the debts into two groups with one group owing him Ksh 800,000 while the other Ksh 700,000.
Residents who rushed to the scene said that the reservoir which is located along the Kisii-Kericho highway has been a scene of dead with several people allegedely killing themselves in it. They now asked the Kisii county to close it down before it consumes more Kenyans.
