Reactions as Uhuru's Only Presidential Portrait is Seen in Jubilee Headquarters
The Azimio One Kenya Alliance has maintained that they do not recognize the legitimacy of William Ruto as president of Kenya. Raila's stand came after an alleged whistleblower revealed that Raila won the polls by over 8 million votes with Ruto coming second with over 5 million votes.
This has resulted to a revolution with several rallies already being held by the Azimio team asking Kenyans and it's supporters not to recognize Ruto and his government.
Today, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Martha Karua held a press at the Jubilee Party headquarters where they castigated the ruling Kenya Kwanza for it's move to kill the opposition. This is after the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties declined to upheld the resolution by the Jubilee NEC to kick out Jeremiah Kioni as Secretary General and David Murathe as vice chairman.
What however caught the attention of keen looking Kenyans was the portrait of former head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta. Unlike most offices where the portrait of the current president is supposed to be displayed, things were different at the Jubilee Party offices where the presidential portrait that used to be in offices when Uhuru was president was spotted.
This has left Kenyans reacting with some saying that Jubilee and indeed the Azimio by extension has made it's move of not recognizing Ruto as president true.
