I Would Have Been Nairobi Deputy Governor were it Not of Uhuru, Sabina Chege Speaks

The Azimio One Kenya Alliance is literally breaking out if the recent remarks and movement if it's party members is anything to go by. In just less than a month, close to 40 members of the Azimio have either shifted their allegiance to Kenya Kwanza or some publicly castigating and campaigning against it.

Just the other day, former Kitui Governor Hon Charity Ngilu said that she regrets not running for reelection as county boss just to support the Azimio ambitious. Ngilu even revealed that they were aware that the Azimio camp would lose to Ruto's Kenya Kwanza but we're just forced to push on with the campaigns despite it having been evidence that they were pushing for a losing project.

"I was misled not to SEEK re-election as Kitui Governor, I realised TOO LATE that Azimio will not win election, but we were FORCED to push on and campaign for a lost project, we all knew from the word go that Raila will LOSE to William Ruto." Charity Ngilu.

Just few days later Jubilee nominated MP Sabina Chege on Sunday spoke while issuing an ultimatum to her party leader Uhuru Kenyatta to address members on the way forward.

Chege who has since pledged to work with Ruto's Kenya Kwanza also revealed some glaring utterances that might put her in more loggerheads with the Azimio camp. While reminding Uhuru Kenyatta, Ms Chege said that "many of your allies lost the vote not because they were bad but because they stuck with you".

Chege also revealed that the Kenya Kwanza team had approached her with an offer to run for the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat but she declined it and instead decide to stick with Jubilee Party.

"I had been approached with an offer by the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to be Nairobi gubernatorial seat running mate, but I turned it down for Uhuru's sake. But he (Uhuru) did nothing to help us become accomplished leaders compared to what we are seeing other party leaders do." Sabina Chege.
