Handshake Loading? Mt Kenya Leader Alleges Secret Talks Between Ruto and Raila

Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando said the secret talks would culminate with the reunification of the original ODM members.

The relationship between Azimio leader Raila Odinga and the Kenya Kwanza leader president William Ruto is very bad as the two leaders have been trading words following the highly intensive general elections where Raila lost to Ruto.

The former Prime Minister has since been rallying his supporters calling out Ruto's government as illegitimate. Even as the anti-government rallies continues across the country, more is coming out as to whether Raila will hold on to the push of having Ruto's government out of office.

Recently, ODM rebel MPs met William Ruto at State House sparking mixed reactions from the opposition which termed them selfish. The party even proposed to have them kicked out of the party for allegedely breaking the party constitution. Even as that continues, former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has claimed that lawmakers labelled as rebels in ODM might be on a mission to create a handshake between Raila Odinga and William Ruto.

In a statement on Twitter, the former lawmaker claimed there was a conspiracy among the top leaders in Kenya to hoodwink Kenyans. Kabando claimed there had been high-level talks between President William Ruto and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya leader Raila Odinga.

"Making this observation without fear, favour, bias, or prejudice: Ruto is baiting Azimio while Raila is on his way to Parliament via Ruto's sly constitutional amendments. Ruto and Raila in plot; secret talks. High voltage palace conspiracy against gullible, suffering Kenyans." Kabando wrote on Monday, February 20.

In his own observation, Kabando wa Kabando claimed that Raila Odinga is likely to become the Prime Minister through the National Assembly (NA), with retired President Uhuru Kenyatta becoming a special envoy and Kalonzo Musyoka become a senior envoy.
