BREAKING NEWS: Jeremiah Kioni & David Murathe Dismissed from Jubilee Party as New Men are Proposed
Hon Jeremiah Kioni who has been working as the Jubilee Party Secretary General until his dismissal has been one of the most vocal leader of the former ruling party that was formed by the former head of state Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto before the latter ditched the party for United Democratic Alliance (UDA) following a bitter fallout.
Since Uhuru Kenyatta left office, the Jubilee Party has been dormant in it's activities with Jeremiah Kioni being left to run the show. News reaching news desks has now revealed that Hon Jeremiah Kioni has now been dismissed from the Jubilee Secretary-General post.
The Jubilee Party Chairman Nelson Dzuya made the announcement of the dismissal of former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni as the Secretary General of the Uhuru-led outfit. According to the party leadership, the former lawmaker was suspended on the basis of laxity and misconduct within the party.
Speaking at the Jubilee Party Parliamentary Group meeting in Nakuru, the party's top brass announced that EALA MP Kanini Kega will take over as the acting Secretary General until a substantive replacement is found to continue running the operations of the party.
The Jubilee National Executive Council (NEC) also announced that they have set in motion a process to exit the Azimio coalition. The MPs also distanced themselves from Azimio's anti-government rallies. This comes barely a week after over 30 leaders from the Jubilee Party met with president William Ruto at State House where they pledged to with Ruto's administration.
With this new information, the Azimio camp is slowly getting weaker and weaker as more members are now pulling out of the formation and supporting Ruto's administration.
