UDA Ally Reveals that IDA ODINGA Betrayed RAILA and Handed RUTO the Ultimate win in August

Kimani Ngunjiri, a former Bahati MP and a close ally of President William Ruto, made allegations that Raila Odinga's wife, Ida Odinga, might have perhaps being the main cause why Raila Odinga lost his presidency to William Ruto.

According to Ngunjiri, who unsuccessfully ran for re-election on a UDA ticket, weighed in on the discussion surrounding Raila Odinga's humiliating defeat to Ruto in the August 9 Presidential contest despite support from former President Uhuru Kenyatta and the deep state. He claimed that Ida Odinga was responsible for Ruto's eventual victory.

Ngunjiri said that Raila Odinga's wife had unintentionally campaigned for Ruto in the days leading up to the elections on August 9. He claimed that Ida Odinga's attacks on the church during the presidential campaign for the elections on August 9 may have contributed to her defeat.

“When Raila Odinga’s wife said they are going to make sure the churches in Kenya are going to be reduced like Rwanda, and Raila repeated the same when he came to Nakuru, that gave us a lot of mileage as UDA,” he said.

Mama Ida, requested that the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) close out-of-control theologically inept churches in January of last year. Speaking at the Kisumu book launch for Archbishop Emeritus Habakkuk Abogno, Raila's wife mentioned the proliferation of small churches in recent years and said that many churches were ineffective since their leaders were untrained.

“We want worshippers to get quality sermons, that can only be achieved if the priests and bishops are well trained,” she said.

Mama Ida's remark sparked a discussion on social media, with some users asserting that it is sufficient evidence to support Ruto's claims about Raila and the Church.
