PHOTOS of Joyce Wanjiru Nyambura who was Killed by Boyfriend in Kahawa West

A family in Ruiru is crying and seeking justice after one of their kin was murdered in cold blood in Maziwa, Kahawa West in Nairobi County just three days ahead of her journey to Qatar where she had secured a job. According to the family, Joyce Nyambura was scheduled to travel to Qatar on Friday before she was allegedly stabbed dead by her Boyfriend.

Speaking to Citizen TV, her sister said that her boyfriend identified as Golden Nyakundi had an argument with the late Joyce over her imminent move to Qatar. The two differed over the issue making Nyakundi follow her to her sister's place and stabbed her dead.

“My sister had really struggled to secure a job here in Kenya in vain until she got the chance to leave for Qatar and we were all happy as a family. However, the turn of events has left the family with so much pain,” Cecilia Nyambura, the mother to the deceased said.

Nyakundi has since gone into hiding with detectives from the Kasarani Police trailing the suspected killer to judge him with murder. Joyce's body has been lying at the Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home and she's set to be laid to rest this week with the family still waiting for justice for their kin.
