Who is King, UDA's Strong Message to Jubilee After Stripping them Off the Kiambaa Seat

It's with no doubt that Deputy Preside Ruto's UDA is taking Kenya by storm if the recent winnings in various mini polls are anything to go by. Being barely five months old, UDA has shown signs of being a giant party in Kenya with the win of Kiambaa seat sending another strong message to President Uhuru and the ruling party at large.

The DP's hustler narrative has attracted the masses with several legislators shifting from Jubilee citing intimidation and dictatorship from the party.

Yesterday was another big day for both Jubilee Party and UDA as the two-party went head to head in the Kiambaa Constituency and Muguga ward mini poll in what Pundits said would be a litmus test for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

In recent days the Mt Kenya region has been experiencing political turmoil with a section of leaders allied to DP Ruto saying that Uhuru has lost grip of the region. To stamp authority as the region's kingpin, Uhuru fronted and supported Kariri Njama through the Jubilee ticket so as he can regain back the seat that was Jubilees'.

But to the shock of Jubilee and Uhuru Kenyatta, DP Ruto has proved yet again to be gaining popularity in his backyard thus sending a strong message to his boss. His latest win is a wake-up call for Uhuru that things are changing very fast and should he fail to consolidate the region then he will lose a lot.
