Ni Kubaya, Prepare for an Uprising, Former CJ Warns Ruto that Things Might Fall Apart Sooner than Later
Six Months down the line, kenyans have even gone through hard times than they were during President Uhuru's term. From the high cost of electricity, high taxes and unmanageable food prices, Kenyans are indeed struggling to live for another day.
This high cost of living in the last few days has forced some Kenyans into the streets who have been demanding the Ruto administration to ensure that they work on lowering the cost of living. Regardless of those call coupled with the Azimio rallies across the country, Ruto seems to have turned a blind eye to the plights of kenyans.
Today, comedian and content creator Eric Omondi lend othe activist and Kenyans to protest the High cost of living. The group blocked the Parliament road and tried to storm Parliament building before they were repelled by police officers manning the establishments.
Following that protest, former Chief Justice Dr Willy Mutunga has send a warning to the Ruto administration that today's show by Omondi and other activist is just but the begging of an apprising. The seasoned lawyer said that this action depicts the quest for Kenyans for an alternative political leadership.
"Prepare for an uprising...the action by Eric Omondi presents a quest for an alternative political leadership." Willy Mutunga, Chief Justice emeritus.
This protest comes barely hours after a similar one was staged yesterday by a section of Nairobians who matches to DP Rigathi Gachagua's office demanding the cost of school fees after their learners failed to join High School.
