Angry Kisii Residents Get Charged After Raila alleges the Motive Behind Matiangi's Arrest

Today Azimio leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Eugene Wamalwa and Jubilee Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni stormed Kisii county for a major rally as they continue to condemn the Ruto administration.

The Azimio leaders took a swipe on the recent attacks on former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi where the DCI raided his home over the week in an attempt to retrieve the CCTV footage to verify whether there was a raid that was carried out a week ago.

According to the Azimio camp the alleged raid in Matiangi's home is just witch hunt because of his close working relationship with former President Uhuru Kenyatta. Raila revealed that he's ready to fight for Dr Matiangi until the end.

"I told Matiang'i to be strong because I would die for him. He declared that we don't want them (Kenya Kwanza) to restore authoritarianism to the nation." Raila said amid cheers from the crowds.

“Matiang’i’s only crime was being loyal to Pr. Uhuru Kenyatta. We want to tell Ruto that you cannot rule a country by vendetta” former CS Eugene Wamalwa.

Kalonzo Musyoka who's also one of the principals also said that he's ready to fight for Matiangi until the end.

"I rarely go to court, given I was once Vice President but I'll be the first to defend Matiang'i." Kalonzo Musyoka.

The utterances of the Azimio leaders got the crowds charged as they started singing anti Ruto chants.
